Nuria Fergó to Sonsoles about her father's cancer: "I asked God to take him without suffering."

Nuria Fergó visited the set of "Y ahora Sonsoles" this Wednesday, June 25th, to be interviewed by Sonsoles Ónega. The conversation was intimate and profound, allowing the popular singer to express her emotions. It was a very warm encounter.
One of the most striking moments was when she was asked about the recent death of her father, José Fernández, who died of fulminant cancer on March 28th. A hard blow from which the artist is still recovering.
This is how he began his story, which revealed Fergó's profound emotion: "It was a very quick experience. It was brutal. The doctor told us that at that moment, my father needed a lot of love and company."
A medical recommendation they followed to the letter. "His friends, my sister, my mother, and I have been with him without leaving our side. I was in Madrid because my daughter was in high school, but I was coming and going all the time. I've spent a lot of time with him. He felt so loved and supported that you could tell he was comfortable," she revealed.
Finally, Nuria Fergó closed this topic with the following reflection: "He's gone so quickly, but from the very beginning I asked God that if he was going to take him, at least he wouldn't suffer. We're just passing through here, and there has to be something for everyone. What's life like? We have to evolve."
On a more general level, the actress who rose to fame for her role in Operación Triunfo took stock of everything she's been through: "When I look back, I see so many experiences. I consider myself a very lucky person because I've achieved my goals, living off my passion, which is music. I have a wonderful family and wonderful friends who have supported me and loved me from the very beginning. What more could you ask for? If something bad happens, they're there."
She also confessed to Sonsoles Ónega that she has gone to therapy to overcome certain obstacles: "This is a job that takes time, not two days. I've been working on myself for a while. I've been through a lot, and the backpack gets heavy. Nobody teaches you how to empty it. You just keep going. There comes a time when your body gives you a signal, and that's when you start to investigate and seek help. You realize that you have to heal a lot of things and go to therapy because it's been 25 years of many experiences. You have to be silent from time to time, you have to listen to yourself. When you do that and free your mind, you start in a different way."
